Changing the Hostname of a Cloud Server

Requirements: A Cloud Server

Steps to Change the Hostname

1. Log in at fleet.hostify.in.th

2. Click “Manage” on the desired Cloud Server

3. Go to “Settings” and select “Change Hostname”

4. Enter the new hostname and click “Change Hostname”

5. Confirm the change by clicking “Change Hostname” again

6. Once complete, the Dashboard will display the updated hostname

Note: If you change the hostname through the website, the hostname inside the server will not update immediately after logging in. You must reboot the server first using the command:

sudo reboot now
